Dalwhinnie produces Highland single malt in the highland village Dalwhinnie.
The distillery was founded in 1897 by John Grant, George Sellar and Alexander Mackenzie and was named strathspey but went bankrupt after 1 year. After being sold to A.P. Blyth its name changed in Dalwhinnie. and currently owned by Diageo.
The dalwhinnie distillery is the highest distillery in Scotland. Dalwhinnie means “meeting place” in Gaelic.
90% procent of it's production is being used in Black & White-whisky
