The only distillery on the Isle of Arran founded in 1994 and their first spirit ran through the spirit safe on 29th June 1995. The 25th of July, 3 years later this was the first legal dram on Arran for over 160 years.
The spirit of a unique and magical island since 1995, independently owned and independently minded. Arran is dynamic whisky distillery, doing things the old way. They craft their spirit using traditional methods and a few chosen, pure ingredients, reviving an ancient heritage of whisky-making on Arran. They are proud of it but they make distinctively modern whiskies. Working on new expressions and giving the world new flavors of Arran. Their whisky is made largely by hand with the help of the eye, nose and palate.
