Milk and Honey - Elements Sherry Cask

To create the whisky, they travelled all the way to Jerez, Spain and had Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry escpecially made for Milk and Honey. They brought the casks to Tel Aviv to mature their New-make spirit for a wonderful complex whisky.

The M&H elements sherry is the first and only kosher single malt whisky in the world, aged in sherry casks.

Ex-red wine casks that were sourced from Israel's finest wineries were picked for this part of the Elements trilogy. The casks are a celebration of local terroir, creating a floral single malt with notes of dark chocolate.

The Atlantic meets the mediterranean. Casks from Islay, that soaked in smoky aromas and salty flavors, were chosen for the Elements Peated:

Nose: Banana yoghurt with dark chocolate chips, fragrant wildflower honey and crushed white peper

Palate: Rich molasses followed by pecan pie sprinkled with toasted coconut, warm spice mix of nutmeg and cloves

Finish: Tropical fruit, papaya and cantaloupe accompanied by fresh mint

Nose: Strong, fruity aroma, combined with earthy notes. Apricot and peach pair with a bouquet of white flowers, are followed by a light citrus and a slight mineral flintiness in the background.

Palate: Medium body. Delicate notes of oak are accompanied by dried apricots, lemongrass and a pleasant earthiness.

Finish: Long. Hints of rich, dried fruit, with lingering flavors of citrus and oak and a gentle touch of resin in the background.

Nose: Ripe pomegranate, followed by a swirl of rich vanilla, roasted coffee and butterscotch. Strong earthiness, accompanied by notes of orris root, spearmint and freshly baked sour apple.

Palate: Juicy, with crushed pomegranate grains, dried figs and a bouquet of spicy-sour herbs.

Finish: Long and dry, with a hint of toasted oak, followed by sourdough pretzels with a side of red fruits.

Finish: Baked apple pie, rich in butter and enhanced by cacao and sweet toasted barley.
