As we search after new distilleries and whiskies we visit the world and it's distilleries. We get the luxuory to get to know different whiskies.
Things we like, we bring back home and for our customers to get to know the whisky from different countries not really known for their whisky distillation, we organise tastings.

South African Distilleries, not an everyday dram
Due to the warm climate they have some bigger Angel's share losses.
Despite this, they produce some good whiskies.
For a Whiskey to call itself Bourbon, its mash must contain at least 51 per cent corn. The mash must be distilled at 160 proof (80%Vol) or less, distillate to be stored in charred new oak barrels at 125 proof or less without any additives.
Today there are many Bourbon distilleries in the USA.
Irish Whiskey is made on the island of Ireland. Once the most popular spirit in the world. Irish Whiskey is known for its triple distillation process and smooth whiskey.
