This is the Whisky Point

Hi,

my name is Sean, a whisky enthusiast from Antwerp. Recently moved to the forests in the Belgian Ardens.

I was mesmerized by this liquid from day one.

For me it all started at this amazing location in the Hollywood hills, where I ended up with my best friend. Whilst Simon Le Bonne was playing "yellow submarine" on the piano in the living room.

As if this setting wasn't overwhelming enough, we were surrounded by fascinating and successful people. I was caught by surprise when one of them reached out to me with a glass the size of my head with what was just a sip of booze to me at that age.

The aromas, the palate, followed by my first sip combined with the sweet burning feeling of the alcohol sliding down my throat swept me off my feet. I haven't found a bigger love since that day, it was the start of a quest.

I started to drink Whisky on every festive occasion in order to explore the world of Whisky and its wide range of tastes. In order to feed my hunger (or thirst in this occasion) for knowledge on my new passion I started to look for independent bottlers and distillers to improve my taste palate and to get to know my predilection.

With Whisky Point I would like to share this amazing experience with other enthusiast through photos, visits and of course my Whisky Shop, both online and offline.
